Juventus have made their stance very clear: Kenan Yildiz is going nowhere. Chelsea’s ambitious attempt to snatch the Turkish starlet has been met with a firm rejection, sending a message to Europe’s elite that the 20-year-old playmaker is simply not for sale.
Reports from Gazzetta dello Sport reveal that Chelsea tabled an offer in the region of €65–68 million (£56m–£59m), hoping to bring the young attacker to Stamford Bridge. But Juventus didn’t even blink. The club instantly declined to entertain talks, maintaining the same hardline position they adopted earlier this year when Barcelona and Bayern Munich also came calling.
Despite approaches from two Premier League clubs ready for big proposals, Juventus have no plans at all to sell Kenan Yildiz.

It’s no surprise Yildiz is attracting so much interest. The young No. 10 had a breakout season in 2024–25, scoring 12 goals and providing nine assists, quickly establishing himself as a regular starter under Igor Tudor. More than just another promising youngster, Yildiz is seen by Juventus as the face of their next-generation rebuild—someone to build around, not cash in on.
In fact, Juventus are already in the middle of preparing another contract extension for Yildiz—his second in less than a year. The aim is to tie him down until 2030, with a new deal that will see his annual salary rise above €4 million plus bonuses. That would place him among the club’s highest earners—deservedly so, given his growing importance to both their on-field ambitions and their image as a club investing in youth.
Juventus’s refusal to part ways with Yildiz also says something more subtle but important. Financially, this kind of offer could have solved a lot of problems. Let’s be honest—Juventus haven’t exactly been in great shape on that front. A deal nearing €70 million would’ve gone a long way in easing those burdens. It might not have been quite on the level of the Paul Pogba-to-Manchester United transfer from 2016, but it would have been a massive windfall nonetheless. And yet, they still said no. That decision shows that Juventus are serious about holding onto their best talent, even when big-money bids come in. They’re not going to let short-term financial gain dictate every move.
Chelsea’s interest, meanwhile, is part of their wider summer push to bring in young attacking talent. Even after signing the likes of Jamie Gittens, Liam Delap, and Joao Pedro, and closing in on a move for Xavi Simons, the Blues are still actively shopping for future stars. It’s clear they see Yildiz as someone who could take their frontline to another level. But Juventus aren’t biting.
And make no mistake—more offers will come. Whether from Chelsea again or another top club, interest in Yildiz is only going to grow. But for now, Juve’s message is loud and clear: their young star isn’t on the market, no matter how much money is being thrown their way.
