Virat Kohli Becomes Only the 2nd Indian to Score ODI Hundreds in 10 Countries

An India vs Pakistan clash is always the marquee fixture of any ICC tournament, and with Pakistan hosting the 2025 Champions Trophy, the stakes were even higher. But when the moment arrived, the hosts failed to rise to the occasion, managing only a modest 241-run total – a target that never seemed enough, especially with Virat Kohli in the opposition ranks.

As he has done time and again, Kohli took charge of the chase, dictating terms with a flawless century that sealed yet another memorable win for India. And in doing so, he etched his name into the record books yet again, becoming just the fourth player in history to score an international century in 10 different countries. Kohli’s latest century in the UAE – coming in just his second ODI innings in the country – adds yet another feather to his already illustrious cap. With this knock, he has now recorded an ODI hundred in every single nation he has batted in: Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, the West Indies, Zimbabwe, and now the UAE. 

This remarkable achievement places him among an elite group of batters to have scored ODI centuries in 10 different countries, joining legends like Sanath Jayasuriya, Sachin Tendulkar (both with 12), and Chris Gayle (10). But what sets Kohli apart is the sheer perfection of his record – no other batter in history has scored a hundred in every single country they’ve played in. It’s just another testament to his ability to deliver on any pitch, in any conditions, against any opposition.
