The Corporate Premier League (CPL) is back for its second season, and this time, it’s bigger, bolder, and packed with even more action. Organizers are pulling out all the stops to make this edition an absolute spectacle, and with the tournament expanding from just four teams to a whopping 12, there’s plenty of excitement in store.
Up until now, the start date for CPL Season 2 had been a mystery. But today, the organizers finally put the speculation to rest by unveiling the official schedule and fixture list. The much-anticipated tournament is set to begin on March 29 with the group stage, where the teams are split into four pools of three. Each team will face off against the others in its group in a round-robin format. Defending champions PropBucks find themselves in Group A, alongside Primus Software and Shiva Warriors. Over in Group B, MCC, Pranam Ji XI, and Cric Mafia are set to go head-to-head. Meanwhile, Group C features Reinspirar Realtors, FDR (First Door Realtors) and KB Mart. As for the last group, AM Champions, Police Panthers, and Pankshi Infratech round out the groups.
The tournament begins with group-stage matches, played from March 29 to April 6. Each matchday features multiple games in different time slots, allowing teams to battle it out for a place in the quarterfinals. The quarterfinals are scheduled for April 12, followed by the semi-finals on April 13. The final phase of the tournament will include the Silver Final for the losing semi-finalists and the Gold Final for the championship title on April 20.
