Rahane's IPL career spans multiple franchises, including Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Rising Pune Supergiant, Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings, and currently, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). His ability to adapt across roles and formats has made him a dependable name in T20 cricket. Rahane kicked things off with Mumbai Indians between 2008 and 2010. Across two seasons, he scored 568 runs in 27 matches at an average of 25.82, but what really stood out was his strike rate — a sharp 147.53. He struck two fifties and played a crucial role in CSK’s setup, showing he still had plenty to offer in the shortest format.

Now at KKR, Rahane continues to be a valuable presence. Since rejoining them in 2025, he’s played 19 matches, scoring 508 runs in 18 innings at a solid average of 29.88 and a strike rate north of 132. He’s already notched up three fifties, with a top score of 61. In IPL 2025, Rahane was handed the leadership role at KKR following Shreyas Iyer's absence. He immediately impacted, scoring a quick-fire 56 off 31 balls in the opening match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. His composed aggression set the tone for KKR's campaign.
